The Lorax stars Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Effron, Taylor Swift, and Betty White. It is set for release March 2012. 

Movies On The Way

Here are a few movies that are being reported to be in production and/or set for release. 


Gilligan's Movie? 


It is reported that Warner Bros has greenlighted a film project based on the popular 60's series, Gilligan's Island. There have been no casting announcements at this time. 


Fraggle Fraggle...


Fraggle Rock: The Movie  is due out in 2011. It is based on the popular Jim Henson children's show. It is said to be about the Fraggles making contact in the human world.


More Henson - Remember The Dark Crystal


That's right. There is a sequel in the works to the 1982 film. It is said to be due out in 2011. 




Also said to being released in 2011 - The Smurfs - the popular cartoon from the 80's is getting an update it seems.     Neil Patrick Harris has reportedly been cast.  


There is also a petition going around for Tim Burton to remake the cult classic The Labyrinth. In my opinion, nobody can replace Bowie.
