Something For Your Ears - Empyreon

New York's Empyreon started off as a few session musicians experimenting. What came from this was melodic metal madness. They released an ep, Eternal Nightmare, but due to prior commitments the band was unable to fully promote it.  They took a break for a year, got a new singer, and soon released their full-length debut, Beyond Perception. Daptone Records Robbery...

Brooklyn Vegan recently reported that recording mecca, Daptone Records was robbed recently. As items are bound to appear on craigslist and ebay information relating to the incident is being asked for by head honcho Gabriel Roth. In a letter sent out he sites many items broken and lost :


"Friends and associates, As you may have heard through the grapevine by now, Daptone was broken into last night. Unfortunately, there was a lot of equipment (mics, pre-amps, monitors, turntables, guitars, amps, computers, etc.) stolen and damaged. It is going to take us a while to go through everything and take full stock of what was stolen, and we are not supposed to touch anything until the cops come back to collect fingerprints so we can only guess what's missing from some mic drawers and cabinets."
