Recently a judge ordered currently incarcerated rapper, DMX, to pay $240,000 in damages to a man he assaulted in JFK airport.
Port Authority officers arrested DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, for posing as an FBI agent and using a fake police siren to pull over Sergei Priporin and his family at the airport.
Simmons claimed he pulled them over because he was making them late for his flight. He was in possession of Oxycodone, Diazepam, crack, and a billy club at the time of his arrest.
Richard Corde, X's lawyer, told the website TMZ, "Mr. Simmons still feels justified in pulling them over when they didn't get out of his way... he's not apologizing for that. The gentleman driving should have gotten out of his way."
At this time X is serving a 90-day jail sentence for drug possession, theft, and animal cruelty.
Rapper DMX has reportedly attacked a corrections officer. Reports say that DMX (real name Earl Simmons) threw a tray of food at the officer when he was told that he could not have a dinner meal he took from a serving tray.
Simmons is currently serving the 90-day sentence that stemmed from Arizona drug and animal cruelty charges. This incident could give him eight more years.
This is apparently the second incident involving the rapper since he started his term. According to AzCentral and TMZ on the first incident:
'He was moved from Tent City to a solitary cell, where he will spend 23 hours a day, following a verbal altercation with Maricopa County Sheriff's detention officers on Sunday (February 8). The rapper will likely remain for the next month, said Lt. Brian Lee, a sheriff's spokesman. DMX was serving his 90-day sentence with more than 2,000 other inmates in Tent City until Sunday, when he refused to report for his designated job in the jail.'(AzCentral)
"After X failed to report for his medication, officials say the former platinum rapper began cussing at officers and threatened to "assault somebody to get some respect." It all started when he refused to report for work, telling officers, "I already have a job and don't need this (expletive)." (TMZ)
And now this? Does anyone else think now that the man needs some help? Clearly something is wrong with him (mentally).
Since being deserted in May 2007 several items had been stolen from the Arizona home of rapper DMX. Among the various items were his quad bikes.
Now, while he faces sentencing on January 30th, DMX will now have to deal with the home going into foreclosure.
In 2003 DMX paid $600,000 for the property and now a local bank has put it up for sale at the reduced price of $429,000.
DMX pleaded guilty to four charges of animal cruelty, drug possession and theft in three separate cases.

Currently there is a warrant out AGAIN for his arrest. The rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons failed to appear in court to face drugs, identity theft and animal cruelty charges.
According to his lawyer Simmons is currently undergoing rehab, but failed to show documents to prove this.
I just think the man needs a friend....from watching his reality show some time ago...I saw a deeply troubled person....
