The Dictator - Trailer

Sacha Baron Cohen returns in the movie The Dictator which, according to Paramount Pictures, will "tell the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed."

Baron Cohen plays the role of General Admiral Alladeen, a dictator from the the Republic of Wadiya.  The film also stars Ben Kingsley and Anna Faris. It is said to be inspired by the novel Zabibah and The King by (former Iraqi leader) Saddam Hussein. The trailer appears to allude that it is inspired by former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

The Dictator is set for release May 2012.
