Whiteout --- Trailer

Whiteout, starring Kate Beckinsale is set to hit theaters on Sept 11. In the movie, Beckinsale plays a U.S. Marshal out to investigate a murder in Antarctica before winter when the continent plunges into darkness.



This movie is based on a comic book. If you are interested check it out here. This guy does a pretty good job explaining.

MPAA Rating: R for violence, grisly images, brief strong language and some nudity.

Gidget

It is with great sadness to have to say that Gidget, best known as the Taco Bell Chihuahua ("Yo Quiero Taco Bell"), has died at the age of 15.

It is being reported that Gidget suffered a sever stroke and had to be euthanized.

She had been the mascot for Taco Bell from 1997-2000.






RIP Gidget.

Ah yes, how I do love the earworm... I mean DJ EARWORM. Here is his newest mashup - My Life Would Suck Without You In My Place (Kelly Clarkson vs. Coldplay).



Now, I'm not a big fan of Coldplay. I'm not really a big fan of Kelly Clarkson either. Somehow, the combination of these tracks brings out a whole new outlook on the song. It gives a new vibe. It creates a brand new emotion. It makes the song a bit more listenable for me.



Well, enough of what I think. What do you think?

Death By Chocolate

New Jersey - An employee working at a chocolate factory in Camden County died after falling into a vat of hot chocolate.



Vincent Smith II, aged 29, was on a nine-foot high platform dumping raw chocolate into the vat when he fell and suffered a fatal blow to the head from the vats agitator, a mechanism used to stir the chocolate.



The vat was churning a batch of chocolate for Hershey's at the time.



At the time of the incident, according to Camden County Prosecutors, there were three other workers on the platform. One worker managed to turn off the machine but it was too late.

There is an option to review people who TweetDeck recommend that I follow.... if I don't choose to follow someone the first one or two times I am recommended... why are they the same people every time I log on? Can't it see the people I talk to and recommend some other people? I don't WANT to FOLLOW Shaq!!!



I'm sick of people bashing Michael Jackson and calling him a pedophile... the poor man is dead. Also, Mr. Critic, were you in the room or anywhere near where this stuff could have happened? No, you say? OK then, SHUT UP!!!!

MXP4 Update -- Music Now Available

A short time ago I posted about a new music tool and player that shows some promise.

The MXP4 finally has some music. The first interactive single is "Raindrops" by Basement Jaxx.

The MXP4 Creator is an editing tool devoted to creating music in the new mxp4 format. This format takes the MP3 concept, improves the encoding quality, then splits the whole thing into layers and tracks. This allows the user to create their remix whenever they want easily.

The MXP4 Player allows users to listen to any mxp4 track and to switch between variations available versions of the track (ex. remix1,remix2,acoustic,etc.). An MXP4 file may also contain multimedia information such as visuals, text, etc.
