It is a holiday weekend.... so, it's time to catch up on some of the things we may have missed....



Hype Machine Outs Artists For Chart Manipulation - (hypebot) -- "We found several artists and blogs creating fake accounts on the site and favoriting their tracks to get higher visibility in the charts." (pretty pathetic if you ask me)



Recording Labels Sue Online Music Services - (tulsaworld) ---
Microsoft Corp., Yahoo Inc. and RealNetworks Inc. have been sued by music labels that allege the companies made recordings available without getting permission. (didn't this already happen?)
