The Book of Eli - Trailer

I must say that this trailer impresses me. I must also say that I am glad Will Smith is not the star.


The Book of Eli stars Denzel Washington as a lone warrior set out to spread knowledge that may be the key to redemption to a society in need.

The film also stars Mila Kunis and Gary Oldman.

Revisited.... (Videos) Burial And Photek

The names Burial and Photek are well known in some dnb and dubstep circles. If you don't know them by now allow me to introduce you to two of my favorite tracks.



Burial - Archangel

The first time I heard this track I was amazed. I listened to it over and over and over and it became a ritual to listen to it several times everyday. There is something beautiful lying deep within this stripped-down track. Nothing in it is overdone. It is sheer perfection to my ears.








Photek - Ni Ten Ichi Ryu

This drum and bass track is one of my favorites. It gives a great vibe... perfect for when you want to just get up and dance or just relax and nod your head. A definite recommendation for any mix you want to put together.

Schizoid Club -- Outlaw

Schizoid Club is an electronic/dj outfit from the UK. Their sound fuses hip-hop, electronic, funk, breakbeat, and down-tempo in an intriguing way that makes me want to listen to the same track over and over and then do the same with the next one.

Automatic Black -- The One

Automatic Black formed in 2001. In 2004 Arista was to release their debut album, De-Evolution, but it was shelved due to "financial difficulties". Recently their new ep, Automatic Black, was released via their new label Per Capital Records. This is one of the tracks from the EP.

I have always had this love-hate thing going when it comes to Dave Mustaine and Megadeth. There are just some songs that I cannot get into and then there are some that just dig into me a la "Sweating Bullets." This new track, "Headcrusher," is just such a track....this really rocks.... ENJOY!

New Material From Massive Attack

It has been announced that Massive Attack to are set to return with their first new material in three years.

The ep,set for release on October 5th, is titled "Splitting The Atom".

Also in the works is an lp that is tentatively set for a late Jan/early Feb release.
