Let's just get to it.

Donald Duck appears to be in hot water as a woman is suing Disney for allegedly being groped.

From smokinggun.com : " 'While visiting Epcot Center in Florida, a Pennsylvania woman alleges that a Disney employee dressed as Donald Duck grabbed her breast and molested her after she sought an autograph.' "

Jim Jarmusch is reportedly working on a documentary about Iggy Pop.

From Clashmusic.com " ' Iggy Pop is a force of nature. As frontman with The Stooges the singer helped set out the punk template, with loud guitars, screaming vocals and plenty of audience provoking antics during a live show.' " (read more)

While Donald Duck is in trouble, American Airlines is in its own hot water as a woman is suing them for a few things... and especially for what ended up in her hair.

Eurthisnthat.com reports " 'We’ve all heard of the “friendly skies”, but some people have gotten carried away.  A 21-year-old woman has filed a $200,000 lawsuit against American Airlines alleging employees on a flight from Dallas to Los Angeles didn’t watch her back while she slept.  But, someone else did.' Singles: The Dead Weather - Die By The Drop

This is a single from the album, "Sea Of Coward," which drops May 11th. I kind of like the artistic vision for this video. Jack White never ceases to intrigue.

Something For Your Ears - Latent Anxiety

Latent Anxiety is the brainchild of Ilja Rosendahl. The music cannot be classified as one genre as it fuses many forms of rock and electronic.

From his Vimeo page, "He brilliantly creates a refreshing blend of diverse dark wave, industrial and gothic themes with tasteful infusions of rock, pop and dance music featuring mind boggling vocals, grinding intelligent guitars and melodic synths in a multidimensional sound that he calls Electronic Alternative Rock (EAR). Latent Anxiety does not get caught up in one particular musical style or genre, but truly defines its own boundaries while presenting substantial crossover ability and something for every listener."

 I like this video. It reminds me of a much updated Police 'Every Breath You Take.' I could be wrong. Check it out for yourself. For more from the artist please check the links after the video.

With so many bands reforming and planning to put out music.... I just hope this one doesn't fail.

Soundgarden To Reunite?

That’s right! As per Chris Cornell’s twitter – Soundgarden has announced that they will be reuniting this year.

The band recently reunited at one of Pearl Jam’s October Los Angeles shows. The last time that the band played together was in 1997. The last studio album was 1996’s ‘Down On The Upside.’

In the meantime, here are a couple faves.

If this works out… I might even forgive him for that awful album with Timbaland….

Avenged Sevenfold Drummer Dies

Jimmy Sullivan, aka “The Rev,” was found dead in his home in Huntington Beach, California, Monday December 28. He was 28 years old.

Police at the scene stated that it appears that he died of natural causes but an autopsy will be performed by the county coroner.

Currently the band was working on their fifth album, a follow-up to 2007’s self-titled album. The new album was due sometime in mid 2010.

I send my condolences to his wife and family.

From the band’s website:

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.

Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.
We love you.

Is This A Metal Fans Dream? The Rumors Were True!

As recently posted on Metallica’s website:

Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax . . . the rumors are true!

You've been posting and chatting about it for months and we're here now to confirm it . . . Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax will all share the same stage for the first time EVER! Look for the four of us at the Sonisphere shows in Warsaw, Poland and Prague, Czech Republic on June 16 and 19, 2010 with a few more of the festival dates still in the works, you can be sure these shows won't be the only ones.

In the words of Lars: "Who would have thought that more than 25 years after its inception, thrash metal's big 4 would not only still be around and more popular than ever, but will now play together for the first time...what a mindfuck! Bring it on!"

What more can we say??

~~~~~~~
Actually, I don’t think that there is much more they could say.  The question is…… how many of you still care?
