Bassnectar - Ugly

Bassnectar has released a new video. This one is for the track "Ugly" from the latest release, VAVA VOOM. The video is an odd one. It is filled with twisted faces that are, well, meant to look ugly. Check it out below. If you like what you hear and want more, please SUPPORT THE ARTIST and pick up the album (here).

Noisia - Could This Be

Noisia recently posted their latest video off of the special 32-track edition of their album, Split The Atom, which was released in February via Mau5trap. The stunning video is directed by Alexander Lehmann, who previously directed the video for the groups track, "Exodus", also on Split The Atom.

#music Surge ft. Pyxis - Leech

Haunting vocals intertwine with deep bass in this video for the dubstep track "Leech" by Surge. The track features Pyxis, who is also the front woman for the rock group Kaleidofly. "Leech" is out now so if you like what you hear.... SUPPORT THE ARTIST and get it. I am sure we will be hearing much more from this artist soon. Surge recently did an interview (and guest mix) over at Kmag. You can check it out here @ KMAG

Katy B - Katy On A Mission

This right here.... is definitely a club banger for the here and now. The track is produced by none other than Benga and was written by Katy B, Benga, and Geenius. It's time to chill out, relax, and bob your head.

Simian Mobile Disco ft Beth Ditto – Cruel Intentions

I like this song. I found it to be catchy and it can be danceable.

The video? I don’t like it all that much. I will however give credit to the band for not putting out just any old video. I will also give credit to the director, Saam Farahmand for putting it together.

Sorry, but I wouldn’t mind an alternative video.

The single is from the album, Temporary Pleasure, which is out now.

Check out the band’s site for more info: smd

As an added bonus, here is the great remix from dubstep producer, Joker.

Revisited.... (Videos) Burial And Photek

The names Burial and Photek are well known in some dnb and dubstep circles. If you don't know them by now allow me to introduce you to two of my favorite tracks.

Burial - Archangel

The first time I heard this track I was amazed. I listened to it over and over and over and it became a ritual to listen to it several times everyday. There is something beautiful lying deep within this stripped-down track. Nothing in it is overdone. It is sheer perfection to my ears.

Photek - Ni Ten Ichi Ryu

This drum and bass track is one of my favorites. It gives a great vibe... perfect for when you want to just get up and dance or just relax and nod your head. A definite recommendation for any mix you want to put together.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. For more information on these artists please check out:

Burial -- Beatport (sorry but this was the best link I could find)

Hot Release : Boxcutter

Named after a signal sent into space to detect alien lifeforms, ‘Arecibo Message’, by Boxcutter, is being heralded as possibly his best work.

This album is more upbeat than the dubstep producers previous two albums 'Glyphic' and 'Oneiric'. It also features more guitars and bass than the previous albums which gives the listener a bit more texture. Check it out here:
