Which Movie?

Some of you, like me, do not really watch much sports. You didn't watch the Superbowl. That's fine. Here are a couple of tv spots for upcoming movies. Which, if any, of these are you psyched about?

The Avengers - set for release May 2012.

Battleship - set for release May 2012.

G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation - set for release June 2012

I myself plan on seeing The Avengers. Battleship? I would have to see more. As for G.I. Joe? I didn't even want to see the first one. This looks like it is going to be an interesting year for movies.

Useless Fact Of The Week

The character, Joker, was set to die in his second appearance in the Batman comics. He was liked so much by the editor that he was spared. The final panel in the comic implying that he had survived accidentally stabbing himself was hastily added before release.

Please BET....Don't Mess This Up

BET and Marvel Comics have teamed for the upcoming animated series "The Black Panther" based on the comics of the same name.

The lead character will be voiced by actor Djimon Hounsou.

Black Panther was created by Stan Lee and made his first appearance in the July 1966 comic Fantastic Four #52. The character began headlining his own volumes in 1973. The series will be adapted from six of these comics.

Former BET president Reginald Hudlin wrote the scripts in 2005.
